Each year at camp, we gather around the campfire to sing songs of praise together. Singing and music are a vital part of the camp experience, and everyone, young or old, camper or staff member, is encouraged to participate.

It only takes a few songs to get everyone singing, clapping, and moving together as our voices rise up with the smoke and sparks from the fire. There is no feeling like that of your voice joining dozens of others in a message of praise to God and Jesus Christ. The sounds echo across the lake and all our voices blend together as one, expressing the joy of the Good News, the joy of creation, and the joy of being at camp.

Jamie leads the group in Songs of Praise.

Music at camp is full of emotion. These songs take on special meaning in the lives of campers and staff, sparking memories of camps gone by and reminding us of our unity as a camp family. From “Unconditional Love” to “Servant Song,” “Lord of the Dance” to “Abba Father,” all requests are dutifully handled, and campers and staff retire to bed after a night of singing with their voices exhausted and their spirits renewed. Let us know which songs are your favorites, and we hope you will have the opportunity to sing them with us at camp this year.
